Hawaii Lions Club is partnering with Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center to host a free community recycling event.
Clear out unwanted items like electronics, HI-5 containers, gently used clothing, diapers, canned goods, and more — all while supporting local sustainability efforts.
Acceptable donations include:
Computers, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and TVs (no limit)
HI-5 beverage containers
Car batteries only
Gently used clothing
Diapers and wipes for keiki and kūpuna
Pet supplies — towels, blankets, and unopened pet food
Canned goods
Used eyeglasses and hearing aids
Unwanted cars (call ahead to schedule)
Not accepted:
Paint, motor oil, cooking oil, or other hazardous fluids
Tires, metal, wood, or construction debris
Microwaves or other appliances
Ink cartridges and toner
Paper, cardboard, or plastics
Bulky items or furniture
Household items
