3Rs School Recycling Drive — Waiʻalae Public Charter School
The 3Rs School Recycling Drive will be held at Waiʻalae Public Charter School in partnership with Radius Recycling and Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation’s 3Rs School Recycling Program. This community recycling event supports sustainability efforts while benefiting the host school.
Community members are invited to bring residential materials for drop-off. A variety of items will be accepted, including electronics, scrap metal, household goods, confidential documents for shredding, cooking oil, and HI-5 containers.
3Rs School Recycling Drive — Keoneʻula Elementary School
The 3Rs School Recycling Drive will be held at Keoneʻula Elementary School in partnership with Radius Recycling and Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation’s 3Rs School Recycling Program. This community recycling event supports sustainability efforts while benefiting the host school.
Community members are invited to bring residential materials for drop-off. A variety of items will be accepted, including electronics, scrap metal, household goods, confidential documents for shredding, cooking oil, and HI-5 containers.
Sustainable Saturday – Cardboard for Produce Exchange
Sustainable Saturday at Ka Waihona O Ka Naʻauao Public Charter School offers an opportunity to exchange cardboard boxes for fresh local produce.
Bring cardboard boxes and receive produce such as stalks of laupele (Polynesian spinach), while supplies last.
The collected cardboard will be repurposed as mulch for local farms, supporting soil health and helping grow fresh food for the community.

• Clean, brown cardboard boxes (detaped and flattened)
This event is made possible through partnerships with Maʻo Organic Farms, Shaka Moa Eggs, Waiālua Fresh Eggs, Top Notch Fruit & Farm, Atherton Foundation, and Ka Waihona O Ka Naʻauao Public Charter School.

Bottles4College- New Year Recycling Drive 2026
Bottles4College invites the community to kick off the new year with their 2026 New Year Recycling Drive.
Save your HI-5 cans and bottles from holiday celebrations and bring them to this recycling drive to support environmental sustainability and increased access to education for Hawai‘i students. All proceeds from HI-5 redemptions help fund college scholarships through Bottles4College.

Battery Bill & E-Opala’s 808 Envirocycler – Kaneohe E-Waste Drive for Benjamin Parker School
Battery Bill and E-Opala are back with another FREE electronics recycling event—this time benefitting the keiki of Benjamin Parker Elementary School in Kāneʻohe!
Bring your old electronics and help support local students while keeping Hawai‘i green. This family-friendly, drive-thru event is part of the ongoing 808 Envirocycler initiative, which promotes responsible e-waste disposal and sustainable giving.

The Salvation Army x E‑Opala E‑Waste Recycling Event
E-Opala and The Salvation Army have launched a new partnership to expand access to safe, responsible e-waste recycling across Oʻahu. ♻️
This new collaboration will bring together certified recycling services and trusted community outreach to make it easier for residents and businesses to properly dispose of old electronics—like laptops, printers, and monitors—at no cost.
By working together, the goal is to reduce landfill waste, protect the ʻāina from toxic materials, and make sustainable tech disposal more convenient and accessible for our local community.

E-Opala is collaborating with Nerds in the Park to host a free community event focused on sustainability, STEM, and local ʻohana connection.
The day will feature fun, family-friendly STEM activities for keiki, plus an E-Waste Drop-Off Station where attendees can recycle old electronics responsibly ♻️. A great opportunity to learn, explore, and mālama the earth—all in one place.

Drive-Thru, Donate & Shred Event- Koko Marina Center
Clear out clutter while giving back to the community!
ACCESS Shredding and the Hawai‘i Kai Lions Club are hosting a free drive-thru donation and shredding event to benefit Helping Hands Hawai‘i.
Donate new school supplies and receive free document shredding (up to 2 boxes per car), and recycle your e-waste with T&N Computer Recycling Services.
The best part? You can stay in your car for convenient drive-thru drop-off!
