Hawaii Lions Club is partnering with Mililani Mauka Elementary School to host a free community recycling event.

Clear out unwanted items like electronics, HI-5 containers, gently used clothing, diapers, canned goods, and more — all while supporting local sustainability efforts.

Acceptable donations include:

• Computers, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and TVs (no limit)

• HI-5 beverage containers

• Car batteries only

• Gently used clothing

• Diapers and wipes for keiki and kūpuna

• Pet supplies — towels, blankets, and unopened pet food

• Canned goods

• Used eyeglasses and hearing aids

• Unwanted cars (call ahead to schedule)

Not accepted:

• Paint, motor oil, cooking oil, or other hazardous fluids

• Tires, metal, wood, or construction debris

• Microwaves or other appliances

• Ink cartridges and toner

• Paper, cardboard, or plastics

• Bulky items or furniture

• Household items
