Sustainable Saturday at Ka Waihona O Ka Naʻauao Public Charter School offers an opportunity to exchange cardboard boxes for fresh local produce.
Bring cardboard boxes and receive produce such as stalks of laupele (Polynesian spinach), while supplies last.
The collected cardboard will be repurposed as mulch for local farms, supporting soil health and helping grow fresh food for the community.
♻️ Cardboard Guidelines • Clean, brown cardboard boxes (detaped and flattened)
This event is made possible through partnerships with Maʻo Organic Farms, Shaka Moa Eggs, Waiālua Fresh Eggs, Top Notch Fruit & Farm, Atherton Foundation, and Ka Waihona O Ka Naʻauao Public Charter School.
